Will the Dunedin Fashion Week take place in 2008
The big brand name Vodafone has withdrawn its sponsorship from the fashion week 2008 which is scheduled to be held in New Zealand. The organizors have expressed their concern after Vodafone withdrew its spronsorship.
“The organizing committee sought sponsorship wirth $500,000 to stage the event”, said committee chairwoman Susie Staley. Further Ms Staley said, “We have not secured sufficient sponsorships to confirm there will be an even in 2008″.
Vodafone NZ has shifted its focus on sports and music after making changes in its sponsorship strategy.
