Lucy bought by V.F Corp
Lucy activewear Inc., a rapidly growing women’s activewear brand is in the process of being purchased by V.F Corp which is a leading apparel maker of USA. The current estimated annual sales of lucy is appoc $57 million and is being purchased for approx $110 million.
Lucy, after being founded in 1999 has been selling its brand through 50 retail stores and online though its website lucy.com.
The purchase of lucy by VF reflects its interst in hot brand market and also seems due to the changing taste of customers.
